A Day in the Life of a Junior Steamer
Junior Steamers follows a gentle daily rhythm that balances circle time, guided learning centers, and creative play. Story time becomes a daily highlight, introducing new vocabulary and ideas while building listening skills and early literacy. Children rotate through learning centers focused on art, sensory exploration, and simple science activities, always with room for open-ended, child-led play. Group activities also begin to build early social skills like sharing, taking turns, and working alongside classmates.
Developmental Focus
Between 2.5 and 3 years, children are ready for more structured learning experiences layered on top of play. Junior Steamers focuses on:
